The Process of Selling Your Note to Charter Financial
We do our best to make sure the process is as easy and stress free for you as possible. We start out by making an offer for your note. If you accept our offer then we will have you sign a purchase agreement and also ask you to send us copies of the documents that relate to your note, such as a copy of the note, pay history, closing statement, etc. These are items you most likely have in your possession, if not then we can assist you in obtaining them. Once we receive the documents then we begin our due diligence which primarily consists of ordering a drive-by appraisal and also conducting a title search.
We use a title company or attorney of your choice and when we are ready to fund your transaction you simply go to the title company or your attorney’s office and sign our paperwork and receive your money. We pay all closing cost. Nothing will change for the buyer, except they will now be paying us each month instead of you.
